Pinterest shut down this account, only to reinstate it within 24 hours. But the damage was done. The suspension obliterated the account’s reach and visibility. Despite repeated assurances that no restrictions remain, the analytics tell a very different story. We can prove that at least 10% of this account’s pins are shadow banned—they are excluded from all search results.
This is the sixth response to a single, straightforward question:
“Why did you limit my account?”
And yet, Pinterest has sent the same canned, misleading response every time—blaming “seasonality,” “ebb and flow,” and other nonsense. The claim that the account was “checked” is a flat-out lie. It’s a template email we’ve received repeatedly, with zero regard for the facts. The data is clear: this account is restricted. Period.
Pinterest is lying. Blatantly.
They have deliberately crippled this account—and many others—without notice, explanation, or even a shred of transparency. Worse: during the suspension, they also blocked the associated domain and locked the input field where it’s listed, making it impossible to remove or change. A deliberate act of platform control. And NO notification.
DontFuckWithDaddy is a registered entity in Scandinavia, within the European Union. So are our clients and partners—many of whom have also been hit by shadow bans and arbitrary limitations, all without a single notification or explanation.
This means the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) is in full effect—and Pinterest is now in violation.
They will soon be held accountable.
